Well done to everyone who took part or helped in any way .The overall winner was Tom Tipping . Joanna Goorney was first women.
Thanks to The Runners Centre Lancaster for their continued support,providing the vest numbers and also technical T shirts for the first three men and women.
The inclusion of the race in a Lancashire clubs grand prix meant a record turnout of 200 which we managed to process in good time for a prompt 7pm start.
Most runners seemed to get round the course ok ,although someone had tampered with the marking in the old quarry wood which led to a few unfamiliar with the route taking a false trail before getting back on track.Next year the marking out will be left until just before the race start and I'll be making runners more self reliant for staying on route like they had to in the old days when there was only Andrew's diagrammatic map for guidance!
